Dear Sirs/Ladies,

The 2009 Tianjin International Children's Culture & Art Festival, jointly sponsored by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Tianjin Municipal People's Government, will be held in Tianjin, China from July 25 to July 30, 2009.

The theme of this Festival is "Peace, Friendship and Future". Activities during the Festival include the opening and closing ceremonies, “Meet in Binhai” World Children Celebration, the 5th International Children's Painting Exhibition and award show, art troupe’s performance, the 4th World Children’s Great Wall Climbing Race, etc.

The Organizing Committee of the Festival sincerely invites youth and children's performing arts groups from all over the world to participate in the 2009 Tianjin International Children's

Culture & Art Festival.

Terms & Requirements:                                

1. It is advised that the size of each participating group be within 25 members, including teachers. Adults shall account for no more than 5.

2. The duration of a group’s program shall be above 20 minutes.

3. Expenses:

①     The participants shall bear their own international transportation expenses.

②     The Organizing Committee of the Festival will be providing groups with free meals, lodging, ground transportation during the Festival.

If any performing arts group would like to participate in this festival, please send a brief introduction of the group to the Organizing Committee by mail, fax or e-mail. The Organizing Committee will provide detailed information of the Festival as soon as possible.
